R$ 250 billion in 2025: the private sector’s appetite for infrastructure

According to a survey by NeoFeed, more than 110 infrastructure auctions are expected in 2025, including concessions, privatizations, and public-private partnerships (PPPs), with the potential to generate R$ 250 billion in investments.
Partner Leonardo Moreira, in a contribution to the portal, analyzed the challenges facing PPPs in Brazil this year. According to him, the lower adoption of this model compared to concession auctions reflects the complexity of the contracts and the fiscal constraints faced by federal, state, and municipal governments.
