Lack of planning and bureaucracy hinder essential infrastructure investments in Brazil. In a NeoFeed article, Ivana Cota, coordinator of the infrastructure area at Ciari Moreira Advogados, analyzed the impacts of these obstacles, highlighting the case of the bridge over the Araguaia River, a R\$ 232 million project that remains unfinished.
According to Ivana, problems such as litigation after bidding and planning failures are recurrent in sector contracts, making efficient project execution difficult and causing logistical and economic losses.
