USA vs. China: Are we witnessing an AI ‘Cold War’?

The competition between the USA and China in the artificial intelligence sector is intensifying and draws comparisons to the space race of the 1950s and 1960s. According to Vitor, more than a ‘Cold War,’ the competition between the USA and China for leadership in artificial intelligence resembles the 20th-century space race, when the great powers competed for technological and scientific dominance.
